Definition time! Today’s lexicon is “appraisal”. More likely than not, you’ve heard and have an idea of what it means. The exact definition is, “an act of assessing something or someone (source: Oxford Languages).” 

A real estate appraisal, means an (unbiased) evaluation of a piece of property based on many factors by a qualified appraiser to determine its value. This will make your home smell delicious . . .

Here is a quick and easy #pumpkinpierecipe.

Ingredients:
 2 large eggs
 16 oz. (1 can) unsweetened pumpkin puree
 14 oz. (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and allspice)
 9 in. (1 pack) unbaked pie crust

Directions:
 Preheat your oven to 425 F/220 C.
Mix together the eggs, unsweetened pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.
 Spread the pie crust on a baking sheet.
 Pour the pumpkin pie mixture over the crust.
 Bake in the pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
 After 15 minutes, reduce oven heat to 350 F/175 C. Bake until the pie is set (about 35-40 min.)
